Eastbourne Suzuki’s 15th Birthday
Eastbourne Suzuki is celebrating its 15th Birthday, based at our main Eastbourne Motoring Centre branch in East Sussex
In Eastbourne Suzuki’s 15th Year at EMC, we look back over the years to see what we have achieved, including a new showroom, helping local charities and winning awards. We have also helped our customers buy and maintain their Suzuki vehicles whether it be a brand new one freshly off the production line or preloved used from our dealership.
Showroom
In 2010 EMC started work on the new showroom at the Whitley Bridge end of our Eastbourne Site. The old Whitley Bridge Car Sales portacabin was removed to make way for the new showroom which was going to be built to contain both Eastbourne Suzuki and Eastbourne Mitsubishi.
While the showroom was being built, we had a temporary event trailer stationed by the Whitley Bridge Entrance. This enabled us to still sell the new Suzuki models during the construction.
The Refit in 2022
After 12 years, we had a refit with new shiny Suzuki signage going up. (read more)

Award-winning Vehicle Technician Apprenticeships
Over the years, we have had several apprentices win various Suzuki Apprenticeship Scheme Awards.
Including the Suzuki Apprentice of the Year 2012, National Winner of Suzuki Technician of the Year 2018 and Suzuki Apprentice of the Year 2018. (read more)
Drive to Arrive Event (2010)
Our Drive to Arrive Event was a big success in 2010 when we held it in our newly open Eastbourne Suzuki showroom.
We invited some of our customers and the Mayor of Eastbourne, Councillor Carolyn Heaps to join us for an evening at our showroom, where Mike Lyne a senior driving specialist from the Institute of Advance Motorists gave a presentation on Driver safety.
With practical tips and demonstrations, the event was to help local drivers improve their driving skills, general road safety and self-defence. (read more)
Beachy Head Chaplaincy Team
For over 7 years we have partnered with the Beachy Head Chaplaincy Team (BHCT), a local search and rescue charity based at Eastbourne’s Beachy Head.
Their dedicated team, patrol the cliff tops and surrounding downland looking to assist anyone in their time of need.
Since 2018 EMC’s Eastbourne Suzuki has supplied the BHCT with 5 brand new Suzuki Vitara vehicles to help save lives at Beach Head.

Eastbourne Arndale “Win a Car” (2011-2019)
From 2011-2019 Eastbourne Suzuki, supplied a small Suzuki Vehicle each year for the Eastbourne Beacon (formerly the Eastbourne Arndale Centre until 2017) Win a Car. Over the years this included the Suzuki Celerio, Suzuki Splash, Suzuki Ignis and Suzuki Swift.
The annual “Win a Car” event held each year at Christmas, raised thousands for local charities.
We even got to meet Beverley Callard of Coronation Street fame who helped launch the event in 2012 while starring in Little Voice at the Devonshire Park Theatre.
By its 20th year, the event has raised a total of £345,000. (read more)
Sugar Ray Golf Day
During EMC’s annual Sugar Ray Gold Day in 2018, we did a competition to win a Suzuki Ignis with a hole-in-one on the 15th.
While no one managed the feet of a hole-in-one on the day, we did raise a staggering £9,452.65 for our chosen charity that year – The Friends of the Eastbourne Hospital. (read more)
Won Skittles
During the Local Skittles Tournament in 2024 run by the Eastbourne Rotary Club, our highly competitive Eastbourne Suzuki Team won the Tournament with an impressive 311 points and helped raise £2,700 for local charities. (read more)
New and Used Vehicles Sales
During the last 15 years, we have sold over 5,000 vehicles to our local customers and even ones further afield. Our friendly sales team have helped find the right car for our customers which is why they recommend us to their friends and family.
