EMC Wins Eastbourne Skittles Championship for the Fourth Consecutive Year
Eastbourne Motoring Centre secured its fourth consecutive Eastbourne Skittles Championship title. The annual competition attracted a record 300 entrants and raised more than £2,700 for local charities.

Eastbourne Motoring Centre secured its fourth consecutive win at this year’s Eastbourne Skittles Championships. The annual charity event once again brought together businesses, charities, families and friends from across Eastbourne to support local good causes.
Record Number of Entrants
The fourth annual Eastbourne Skittles Championships attracted a record 300 entrants. Organised by the Rotary Club of Eastbourne and sponsored by Stephen Rimmer LLP Solicitors, the event took place at the Saffrons Sports Club from 15 to 18 June.
Teams from across the local community competed over four evenings. The friendly competition raised valuable funds for local charities while creating another memorable community event.
Four Nights of Competition
Each evening crowned a winning team with the highest score.
New Age Bowlers won on Monday with 324 points. Stephen Rimmer LLP Solicitors claimed Tuesday’s honours with a score of 313. Eastbourne Motoring Centre produced the highest score of the week on Wednesday, finishing with an impressive 327. Eastbourne Townies (WI) completed the event by winning Thursday’s competition with a score of 290.
Fourth Consecutive Championship Win
Eastbourne Motoring Centre’s outstanding performance secured the Eastbourne Skittles Championship Shield for the fourth consecutive year. The team also collected the trophy for the highest individual score of the championships.
Winning four consecutive titles is a fantastic achievement and reflects the team’s enthusiasm for supporting one of Eastbourne’s favourite annual charity events.
Supporting the Local Community
The Eastbourne Skittles Championships continue to make a real difference within the local community. This year’s event raised more than £2,700 for local charities.
The Rotary Club of Eastbourne also confirmed it has donated more than £7,000 to charitable causes over the past year. The championships remain one of the club’s most successful community fundraising events.
