Eastbourne Apprentice receives prestigious Award from Suzuki

Teenage mechanic Robert Ireland from Eastbourne Suzuki has been recognised as one of the finest Suzuki car apprentices in the country.
The 19-year-old from Eastbourne has just scooped the Suzuki Apprentice of the Year award 2012 winning the First Year Vehicle Technician Category, beating hopefuls from across the UK to take the accolade.
Robert has just completed the first year of his three year apprenticeship at Eastbourne Suzuki and attends regular training in one week blocks with Suzuki. He also has regular assessments carried out at Eastbourne Motoring Centre by Suzuki.
Alan Bray, Service Director said, ‘We are absolutely thrilled that Robert has been awarded this prestigious title. This is a national competition run by Suzuki and to be awarded 1st Year Apprentice of the Year is a real achievement.’
