Eastbourne Motoring Centre donate a giant chocolate Easter Egg to raise funds for a local specialist school!
When our MD Mark Lambird bid upon and won a 3 ft tall giant chocolate Easter egg at a recent charity auction, he decided that the egg should be used to raise even more money for a local good cause.
Hazel Court School was chosen to be the recipient.
Hazel Court School is a local specialist school for pupils with learning difficulties operating from two sites, one co-located with the Causeway School and the other with Sussex Downs College. They aim to provide education, entitlement, equality and enjoyment for all their pupils, operating a welcoming, supportive yet challenging educational environment in which the pupils can have every opportunity to achieve, be successful and make choices for themselves, with help from the whole school team.
The egg was enthusiastically received by the staff and pupils, and the school will be selling raffle tickets at their various fund raising events and coffee mornings leading up to Easter when the prize will be drawn!
