EMC strike it lucky at the local Skittles Tournament for a second time!
EMC wins the Eastbourne Rotary Club’s outdoor Skittles Championship for the second year in a row, helping to raise over £2,700 for charities.
45 teams consisting of 6 players each, battled it out at the Saffrons Sports Club grounds in Eastbourne over 4 evenings in June 2024 to raise money for charity.
EMC entered seven teams to take part in the second year’s tournament and this year, EMC Team No.5 which includes our award-winning Eastbourne Suzuki Sales Team, bowled over the rest of the competition including last year’s EMC winners, to score an impressive 311 points to win on the night and the whole week!
The Skittles Tournament was a huge success beating last year’s total by raising £2,700, which will be distributed from the Rotary’s Benevolent Fund to local Eastbourne charities.
“What a fantastic result for the Rotary Club and local charities. We are thrilled to have won this prestigious competition and would like to thank everyone who took part, the organisers and to Saffrons for hosting such a great event. We look forward to defending once more next year.”
Mark Lambird, CEO and Chairman of Eastbourne Motoring Centre
