Phil Pyle

EMC staff join together to celebrate Phil Pyle’s 50+ years of loyal service and wish him well in his much deserved retirement.

Phil joined East Dean Motors whilst still at school as a weekend fuel pump attendant before officially starting his full-time training as an apprentice mechanic in July 1973.

EMC Staff at the Eastbourne Branch

The East Dean Motoring Centre workshops expanded into Royal Parade Garages in Cambridge Road, Eastbourne in 1977 where Phil serviced and repaired Nissan, Peugeot and Vauxhall vehicles for a number of years.

Phil moved with the business into workshop premises in Commercial Road in 1980.

East Dean Motors became Eastbourne Motoring Centre and relocated the main showroom and core service centre into our present site in 1988 where Phil has worked in a number of senior roles over the years.

Phil has been an invaluable member of our team for over 50 years and a friendly and familiar face within our aftersales department. He will be very much missed by his work colleagues and EMC service customers alike.

On behalf of everyone at EMC, we would like to take this opportunity to wish Phil a happy, healthy and fulfilling retirement.
